How to draw...MLP!!!!!!!
STEP 1.
Draw the shape of the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.
STEP 2.
Draw in the structure of the face like so.
STEP 3.
You will now draw the ear, then a little detailing.
STEP 4.
Next, draw the horn and then add the horn detailing.
STEP 5.
Draw in Twilight's straight lined bangs, then you are done here.
STEP 6.
Add detailing to the bangs, then you are done and ready for the next step.
STEP 7.
Draw the left side of her face, then make the large lining for the eyes. Add lashes too.
STEP 8.
Draw the eyes and then
color in the pupils. Add cheek blush marks and then a nose and mouth.
Erase your mistakes and that is all.
STEP 9.
Here is Twilight Sparkle. She is ready to color in. Good job folks.
STEP 1.
Make the shape of the head and then sketch in the facial guidelines.
STEP 2.
Draw in the shape and structure of Applejack's face and also include the outline of her ear.
STEP 3.
Draw the top portion of Applejack's mane which is also her bangs.
STEP 4.
Add strand guidelines to her hair, then move to step five.
STEP 5.
Use the facial guidelines
to draw out the large shapes of Applejack's eyes. Add the detailing
inside the ear and add some lashes.
STEP 6.
Add a piece of straw in her mouth, then add some freckles, nose and move to step seven.
STEP 7.
You will now draw Applejack's hat and then you are all done and ready to erase your mistakes.
STEP 8.
Here is the line art once you are done. Now you can color her in to bring some vibrant life to her smile.
STEP 1.
Like most of my tutorials, it's best to start off by drawing guidelines
so sketching the facials will be much easier and they will come out
proportional.
STEP 2.
Then, draw the face shape, making sure that it is a nice curved circle shape which stands close to the guides we drew earlier.
STEP 3.
Next, let's draw the swooped hair piece which frames her forehead shape.
STEP 4.
Then, draw the frame of the upper lashes/lids for her eyes and the line which will separate them at the corners.
STEP 5.
Start sketching in the
pupils and the iris for Twilight Sparkle. She will be confused and
depressed in this version of her. Don't forget to draw her mouth and
nose. Try not to draw them too close together.
STEP 6.
To finish the top of her
head, draw a swoop caving inwards to the one we drew earlier, and then
the horn in the middle of her hair.
STEP 7.
Using thin line weights, define the creases of her hair by adding a few lines in the midsection of the hair and horn.
STEP 8.
Lastly, draw her hair and the rest of her neck and you should be all set with her!
STEP 9.
Now, before you ink and
color, be sure to revise your drawing to make sure everything looks in
place and is proportional. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial, I had
so much fun making it. Don't be shy to link your version of her and to
comment/favorite. Your support means everything
STEP 1.
Start this step the same way you did the other Ponies. Make two round
shapes, one for the head, and the other for the body. You will then draw
in one face guide too.
STEP 2.
Using the shape you just
drew for the head, begin sketching out the front part of the face which
is the snout and mouth. Some of the chin is drawn, but not all. Next,
draw the large expressive eyes, and draw in each eyeball in a crooked
manner. Don't forget the lashes.
STEP 3.
Draw in her messy mane, and then draw out her pointed ear and ear detailing. Draw the mane on her neck too.
STEP 4.
Draw her chest, and then
the first two of her four legs. The hooves should be squared like so,
and you can either draw her leg crouched up, or straight like the other.
STEP 5.
You will now draw out the
feathery wings and then add a layer of feathers on the base of the wings
where it attaches to the shoulder.
STEP 6.
End this tutorial by
drawing in her stomach, back legs, and then her long straight but messy
tail. Clean up the drawing like always, and lets see how she turned out.
STEP 7.
Look how nice she looks.
You can get busy coloring in her body, mane, and tail using the pastel
shades she is originally created with.
STEP 1.
Make two circle shapes, one for the head and the other for the body. You will then draw in the guides for the face and neck.
STEP 2.
You will now start
sketching out the shape of Luna's muzzle and then her mouth and jaw
line. Draw the ear and then make the curl for her mane.
STEP 3.
In this step all you will
be doing is drawing out her large almond shaped eye and then draw in the
eyeball. Add some lashes and be sure that the top lid line is thick or
bold.
STEP 4.
Continue to draw out
Luna's mane until it's long and nicely relaxed on her neck, and falling
down the side of her face. Draw in the horn and add the stripes, and
then draw her tiara or crown.
STEP 5.
Draw the front part of her neck and as you can see it turns into a chest. Draw the first front leg, and then draw out the hoof.
STEP 6.
Now it's time to draw out the wings and notice how the ends of the feathers are parted into pieces.
STEP 7.
Draw the other front leg like so, and then proceed to step two.
STEP 8.
Draw in the stomach like so, and then draw the back legs and her butt end.
STEP 9.
Draw out the long, puffy
tail and make sure that the lining is done to form curls. Curl up the
tip of the tail with the pose of her beautifully combed puffy tail.
STEP 10.
Before you start drawing
in the markings on Luna's body, you will have to clean up the drawing.
Do this by erasing the guides and mistakes you may have made along the
tutorial journey. Make the markings on the hooves, and then draw in her
cutie mark on her back thigh or hip. Lastly, make the crescent she is
wearing around her neck.
STEP 1.
Draw two shapes, one for the head which is round, and one for the body,
and that one is in the form of an egg. Add the guidelines for the face
and tail.
STEP 2.
Fluttershy is going to be
drawn with a side profile. That means all you have to do is draw out the
outline of her head, nose, and chin. Draw out an ear as well.
STEP 3.
All you have to do is draw
out the top lid line for her eyes, and then add some pretty lashes at
the ends of her eye. Add detailing inside of her ear and move to step
four.
STEP 4.
All you have to do here is draw out the eye, eyeball, and color in the pupil. Next, add a smile and nostril dash.
STEP 5.
Okay, as you can see
Fluttershy has a mane that sort of looks like a really neatly kept
hairstyle. Draw in the front part of the mane which is arched, and then
draw the mane on the back of her neck.
STEP 6.
Draw the neck, and then
the front leg. When that is all set you can start the drawing process
for the bird like wings and then draw the back end of the FLuttershy's
butt.
STEP 7.
Draw in the other leg, and then draw the hind legs and then the stomach.
STEP 8.
Okay guys, now you can draw out the long curly tail and as you can see it sort of lays on the floor.
STEP 9.
And for the last drawing
step, all you have to do is draw out the three butterflies, and then
draw in the strand lines for the mane and tail. Erase any visible lines
that you drew in step one to clean your pony.
STEP 10.
Here is what she looks like when you are all done. Now you can color her in to finish this dashing young shy Pegasus pony.
STEP 1.
Draw a circle for the head, and then make another shape for the lower half of the body. Add one face guide and move along.
STEP 2.
You will now sketch out
the right side of Scootaloo's face, and this should include the arch for
the nose, and then draw in the snout and mouth. Add the line for her
eye, and keep going.
STEP 3.
Draw in the lining for the
right eye, and then draw the shape of her left eye which is big and
round. You can then add the lashes, and add some mouth detailing.
STEP 4.
Now you are ready to draw
out the back part of her head, and then draw in her ear. When that is
done begin sketching out her mane, and then draw the front of the neck,
and chest.
STEP 5.
As you can see Scootaloo is
almost done. Draw in her front legs, and then begin sketching out the
small wings and more of her mane.
STEP 6.
Okay guys lets finish her
off. Draw out the back legs and then her pretty tail. Erase the guides
and shapes to clean up the drawing and then add some detailing in step
seven.
STEP 7.
Add some strand lines on her mane and tail and that's pretty much it for this step guys.
STEP 8.
Here she is all buttoned up and beautiful. I hope you liked learning how to draw Scootaloo because I know I did.
STEP 1.
You will be drawing Celestia from a side profile which is going to be
two shapes that are separate from each other. Start by making a shape
for the head, and then draw out the body.
STEP 2.
Instead of connecting the
body right away, You will first focus on getting her face drawn. Start
by sketching out the big tear drop shape of her eye like so, and then
draw in a thick, dark top eyelid line with lashes. Next, draw the first
line for her mane, and then sketch in the shape of her jaw, cheek, and
muzzle which is also the mouth.
STEP 3.
Draw in her ear, and then
draw out the long, narrow unicorn horn. Add the stripes to the horn, and
then draw out the eyeball. Draw the nose hole, and then sketch in her
crown as well as some of her mane which curls on her cheek.
STEP 4.
Okay guys, you are going
to have even more fun because now we will be tackling the actual long
flowing mane. Draw out a big cloud like shape that points at the end.
Draw the neck, and then draw out the crest that she wears around her
neck, and then draw in the jewel that is on her crown or tiara.
STEP 5.
I find it easier to draw
out her beautiful wings before drawing the rest of her body. Begin
sketching out two wings with the front one being full bodied. Sketch in
the feathers on the inside of her wings like so, and make sure that you
add some definition detail too.
STEP 6.
Now we will start working
on the body by drawing out the long legs and then round off the feet
like so and widen the shape of her legs the further you go down. Lastly
for this step, draw in the jewel on her crest and then move to step
seven.
STEP 7.
Draw in the back end of
Celestia, and then draw out her hind legs which are standing very
strong, sturdy and bold. Once the legs are drawn, you can move to step
eight.
STEP 8.
Okay guys, now you can
draw out the extremely long tail and when you make the tail, be sure to
add that wavy lining to both sides. Erase the lines and shapes that you
drew in step one, and then you're done.
STEP 9.
Now that your drawing is all cleaned up, you can draw in the markings on the hooves, and the sunburst on the hip.
STEP 10.
Here is the finished line
art when you are all done. Now you can have even more fun coloring in
her mane and tail using the shades of the rainbow.
STEP 1.
Make two shapes for this pony's body. Start with a circle for the head,
and then an egg shape for the body. You will then draw an arched line
for the tail and add one face guide.
STEP 2.
Now that the shapes are
drawn in, you can begin sketching out the form of her face which is
basically the left cheek, snout, and the eyes which are also part of the
bridge of the unicorn's nose.
STEP 3.
Draw the pointed ears, and
then add some minor detailing inside of the ear. You will then draw in a
nose hole and a hint of a smile.
STEP 4.
Draw the stripes on the
unicorn's horn, and then draw out the large eyes which are pointed at
the base. Color in some pupils, and then long lush lashes.
STEP 5.
Draw the neck, and then draw out the back and the butts arch as well as the hind leg and stomach.
STEP 6.
Next, draw the other hind
leg, and then draw the front one too. As you can see the legs are very
simple to draw which means you should finish this lesson in less than
ten minutes.
STEP 7.
You can now draw out the
big, high arched tail and then get her mane drawn out as well. When this
is done be sure that you have added a small curl.
STEP 8.
Draw the strand lines to
both the tail, and mane like so, and when you do this it will add some
texture as well. Since the next step is the last drawing step, you can
start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 9.
For the last step, draw in
the other front leg, and then draw three diamonds on her thigh like you
see here. Since you already erased the guides you can pretty much just
finish up the drawing with some final tweaks.
STEP 10.
Now you can color her in
and add this drawing to your My Little Pony book. I hope you enjoyed
this lesson on how to draw Rarity.
